Our holiday resort ArlBerglife is situated on a sunny south-facing slope on the outskirts of Pettneu am Arlberg, peaceful and away from the bustle of St. Anton. The center of Pettneu can be reached in less than a five-minute walk, where you’ll find a variety of restaurants, a supermarket, a sports shop, a café, and a cozy pub – perfect for enjoying a relaxed holiday atmosphere.

Perfect connections to St. Anton, Lech, Zürs & Ischgl.
Just a three-minute walk from the resort, the free ski and hiking bus stops regularly, taking you to St. Anton am Arlberg in under 10 minutes. By public transport or car, Lech and Zürs are about 30 minutes away. In winter, it’s also possible to ski directly to Lech/Zürs. Ischgl can be reached by car in approximately 30–40 minutes.

Local Mobility – Winter

The Pettneu Garnen bus stop (line 7) is only a three-minute walk away. The ski bus connects you to the ski lifts in St. Anton (Galzig/Rendlbahn and Nassereinbahn – West & East terminals). Travel times: Terminal Ost Nassereinbahn approx. 10 minutes, Terminal West Galzig/Rendlbahn approx. 13 minutes.

From mid-December to mid-April, the ski bus runs hourly. For your ski equipment, a free ski depot is available at our partner Sport Alber at both stations (Galzigbahn / Nassereinbahn).

The last ski bus back to Pettneu departs around 6:30 pm. Afterwards, the regular bus line (270) or night bus (270) will safely bring you back (stop: Pettneu Kapelle, ticket required).

For travel to Lech and Zürs, line 760 runs approximately every hour.

Local Mobility – Summer

In summer, you can use the line and hiking bus 270 to St. Anton and Landeck free of charge. Buses run every 40–60 minutes.

Arrival by Car

From Munich, Kufstein, Innsbruck, or Landeck: Follow the S16 Arlberg expressway and take the Flirsch exit (after the Strengener Tunnel). Then continue along the Arlberg Panorama Road to Pettneu.

From Lindau or Bregenz via the Arlberg tunnel: After the toll station, leave the S16 Arlberg expressway (exit St. Anton am Arlberg / Arlbergpass) and drive via the Arlberg Panorama Road (B316) to Pettneu.

From the Arlberg Pass: Stay on the Arlberg Panorama Road (B316) until Pettneu.

Resort location: Turn at the Pettneu fire station (clearly visible from the Panorama Road), follow the slightly descending access road for about 100 meters – and you have arrived.

Arrival by Plane

The nearest airports are easily accessible: Innsbruck Airport, Zurich Airport, Munich Airport, Memmingen Airport. Local taxi services are recommended for transfers to the resort. From Zurich, Munich, and Innsbruck, train connections are also available.

Arrival by Train – Easy, Comfortable & Sustainable

Traveling by train is a comfortable and environmentally friendly way to start your holiday around St. Anton am Arlberg. The St. Anton am Arlberg railway station is located in the town center and is a major hub on the Arlberg railway with international Railjet, EuroCity, InterCity, and Nightjet services. Daily express trains arrive from cities such as Vienna, Zurich, Hamburg, and Amsterdam, allowing you to reach the resort area stress-free. 

New at St. Anton station is the ÖBB Rail&Drive service: a car-sharing option by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), letting you book a vehicle for the last few kilometers immediately upon arrival. Registration is easy online or via the app, and vehicles are ready at the station – ideal for sustainable local mobility.

For guests arriving by train from their hometown, we offer an additional discount.

Regular buses run from St. Anton railway station to Pettneu am Arlberg, making the transfer convenient and comfortable.
